Biography

Tony Dundon is Professor of HRM and Employment Relations, Department of Work & Employment Studies in the Kemmy Business School. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS); Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts (FRSA); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD); former Chief Examiner for the CIPD; and was Editor-in-Chief of the Human Resource Management Journal (HRMJ). He is Visiting Professor at the Work & Equalities Institute, The University of Manchester; Honorary Visiting Professor at St Andrews University Management School, Scotland, and previously Head of Management at NUI Galway. His research has been published in journals such as: Human Relations, Organizational Research Methods, British Journal of Management, Work Employment & Society (among other). Recent books include: Missing Voice? Worker Voice and Social Dialogue in the Platform Economy (Elgar, 2022) HRM: Texts & Cases (6e, Sage, 2021); Handbook of Research on Employee Voice, 2e (2020, Elgar); Case Studies in Work, Employment and Human Resource Management (2020); A Very Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap Book about Employment Relations (2017, Sage); Routledge Companion of Employment Relations (2018).
